El 24 y 25 de abril, 2018--The students will review the vocabulary video and computer flashcards. I will ask questions on body parts. We will do Telehistoria. We will complete activity 4 y 5. We will do necesitar/ querer/ poder/ tener and pens. We will do an assignment on how each gender gets ready. We will do Conversation cards. We will do the workbook.
Standards: 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 3.2, 4.1

El 26 y 27 de abril, 2018--The students will review the vocabulary. We will do Home Tutor as practice. We will review for a quiz by playing Dictionary. We will take the quiz. We will begin Reflexive verbs on the board.
Standard: 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 3.1, 4.1

El 30 de abril y primero de mayo, 2018--The students will review 5 famous Hispanics. The students will review computer flashcards. We will review the vocabulary using the me duele... verb. We will play Tic Tac Toe with the vocabulary. The students will do a check for understanding with their partners. They will ask questions about their workbooks. We will do a quiz review. If there is time, we will go on to reflexives.

El dos y tres de mayo, 2018--The students will discover 5 more famous Hispanics. They will do did you get it? They will take the quiz. They will complete the warm up. We will do activities 6-10 on reflexives. We will complete Gramatica en context. We will complete activities 11-13.

El cinco de mayo, 2018--The students will meet 5 more famous Hispanics. They will begin -ing formations. We will do activities 14-17. They will read Todo junto. We will complete activity 18-22.

World Language Standards Communication: Communicate in Languages Other Than English

Cultures: Gain Knowledge and Understanding of Other Cultures Standard 2.1: Students demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between the practices and perspectives of the culture studied. Standard 2.2: Students demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between the products and perspectives of the culture studied.

Connections: Connect with Other Disciplines and Acquire Information Standard 3.1: Students reinforce and further their knowledge of other disciplines through the world language. Standard 3.2: Students acquire information and recognize the distinctive viewpoints that are only available through the world language and its cultures.

Comparisons: Develop Insight into the Nature of Language and Culture Standard 4.1: Students demonstrate understanding of the nature of language through comparisons of the language studied and their own. Standard 4.2: Students demonstrate understanding of the concept of culture through comparisons of the cultures studied and their own.
